TARU a NGO with revolutionary vision. Heading high with concrete platform of 23 years. TARU challenges to arrange to collect Carbon in form of wood because wood has got capacity to preserve terrible Carbon from atmosphere (average 47%). Therefore TARU says "Trees themselves are Refineries".

Of-course in past we have tried more, even though the forests are decreasing as per FSI. Only the trees are having capacity to preserve terrible carbon from atmosphere by consuming carbon (average 47%) to prepare timber. And therefore TARU’ S motto is "Let us make Nation self sufficient with wood".


Much fear is created & spread in our mind about Global Warning & Environmental by saying & writing in our present life style for which TARU clearly believes and claims about its solution.


TARU challenges “Let us make nation self sufficient with wood”. So it appeales to join in with NGO-TARU”s abhiyan to grow more & more trees by cycling method.


TARU-NGO is also associated with the work of attaining scientific guidance, awareness, and mentality by Chintan Shibir, Seminars, Dialogues, Speeches.

(Environment, Ecology, Economy, & Employment).

The same system has been accepted as Green Economy and boosts it up by TARU Gujarat State. If any better and bigger work that has been done after independence, so that is the Social Forestry system of Gujarat. And the significant for factors have been noticed like;

  2. National Economic Development.
  3. To create literate & illiterate Employment.
  4. 4. Self-reliance for the demand wood.




Plant tree for Timber produces they change lives. They provide wood for building construction and home fuel also boilors in factory with provide food, forage for animals. They increase agricultural yields, improve water infiltration and aquifer recharge, and protect soils from wind and water erosion. However, planting trees can be difficult when the canopy has disappeared, topsoil has been eroded, and the climate and growing conditions have changed. As an agro-forestry resource center, we work with local farmers and community groups to help them better support them selves, and to restore degraded lands to sustainable productivity by planting trees that not only thrive in poor soil conditions.
